The Iskraemeco ME172 is a high-precision single-phase electronic energy meter designed for accurate measurement and registration of active energy and demand in single-phase two-wire networks with direct connection.
 
Ideal for residential and small commercial applications, the ME172 supports Time-of-Use (TOU) / multirate energy registration, allowing utilities and energy users to track consumption across multiple tariff periods (up to 4 rates). Its built-in real-time clock (RTC) enables automatic tariff switching, seasonal changes, and daylight saving time adjustments.
 
The meter complies with EN 50470-1 and EN 50470-3 (Class A & B) and IEC 62053-21 / IEC 62052-11 international standards for electronic active energy meters. Manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001, it ensures long-term accuracy, reliability, and performance.
With advanced antifraud protection, IP53 enclosure protection, optical communication port, and optional RS485 interface, the ME172 is designed for secure and flexible energy management integration.
