Description
The Eastron SDM120 Series DIN Rail Mounted Single Phase (CT) Energy Meter is a high-precision, multifunctional monitoring solution for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Operated via an external current transformer, it provides bi-directional kW and kWh measurement with Accuracy Class 1 for active energy. Fully MID B+D certified, it ensures compliance, reliability, and accuracy in energy monitoring.
Equipped with a scroll display button, the SDM120 allows easy navigation through parameters and supports configurable pulsed outputs (import/export). Communication options include RS485 Modbus RTU (SDM120CTModbus) or M-Bus EN13757-3 (SDM120CTMbus). Free configuration software is provided for seamless setup and parameter management.
The compact housing allows for DIN rail mounting with IP51 protection, making the SDM120 a robust and versatile energy monitoring solution.
 
Included CT
This meter is supplied with an ESCT-TA16 Current Transformer, rated at 120A primary / 40mA secondary, ensuring accurate performance straight out of the box.
 
Compatibility with Inverters
Sunsynk: Officially listed as a recommended external meter for Sunsynk single-phase inverters. Supports Modbus communication for accurate import/export monitoring, energy management, and zero-export functionality. Correct CT ranges must be used for proper operation.
Deye: Fully compatible with Deye hybrid inverters, supporting Modbus integration for energy monitoring and zero-export control. Widely used in Deye system installations.
