The Calin CA168-S-NS06 is an advanced single-phase prepaid electricity meter designed for residential and light commercial applications. This meter combines secure STS prepayment functionality with LoRaWAN communication, providing accurate energy measurement, remote monitoring, and reliable token-based electricity vending in modern smart metering environments.
 
The CA168-S-NS06 operates as a split metering system, consisting of an MCU (Metering Control Unit) installed inside the meter enclosure, and a CIU (Customer Interface Unit) installed inside the customer’s home. This design improves security and prevents tampering while allowing convenient token entry and balance display for the end user.
