Manufactured from 100% lead-free composite (plastic) materials, the BECO Y is corrosion-resistant, environmentally friendly, and built for long-term durability. Its compact construction incorporates IP68 protection, making it well suited for installations exposed to high humidity and challenging environmental conditions.
The meter supports both cold and hot water applications up to T70 (70 °C) and is U0/D0 compliant, meaning no straight pipe lengths are required. This allows flexible installation in confined or complex pipe layouts. A long-life lithium battery provides flexible battery life options (typically 6–15 years, depending on communication mode and reporting configuration), ensuring reliable, long-term maintenance-free operation.
The BECO Y is AMR/AMI ready, supporting LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, RS485, and Sigfox communication for seamless integration into smart metering systems and remote reading platforms.
