The Kamstrup flowIQ® 3100 encompasses a range of seamlessly integrated and airtight water meters designed for measuring the consumption and distribution of cold domestic water. Operating on the ultrasonic principle, these static cold water meters have been developed drawing upon Kamstrup's extensive experience since 1991 in the development and production of static ultrasonic meters. The flowIQ® 3100 has undergone rigorous type testing (OIML R49) to ensure a meter that is stable, accurate, and reliable over the long term. Notably, one of its key advantages lies in its lack of wearing parts, ensuring durability. Powered by an internal lithium battery, it boasts a lifespan of up to 16 years. Constructed as a vacuum chamber of molded composite material, with a measuring tube crafted from brass or stainless steel, the meter provides full protection for its electronics against water ingress from both the measuring tube and its surroundings. It can be easily installed in minor pumping stations and is suitable for placement in distribution wells and meter wells, even when frequently submerged. The flowIQ® 3100 is also well-suited for measuring water usage in apartment blocks and commercial buildings, seamlessly integrating into networks of MULTICAL® 21 household meters.
